DISK DEFRAGMENTATION

Disk Defragmentation is the process of consolidating fragmented files of a hard drive. Fragmentation occurs to a hard disk as we do saving, changes or deleting files which are often stored at a location on hard disk which is not same as original file. New changes are saved to even more locations (tracks and sectors) which is really scattered. When its a long period of use, both files and hard disk become fragmanted and computer slows down. So, Disk Defragmentater is a tool that rearranges the data on our hard disks and reunites the fragmented files which will then result the better performance of the computer. To Defragment the Disk, first we should click on Start button, then to all programs, followed by Accessories, then the System Tools and a Click to Disk Defragmenter. We can also install additional softwares to defragment the drive according to our need such as Ultra Defragmenter, SpeeDefrag etc.
